ISLAMABAD, (Muzaffargarh.City – 31st Mar, 2017 ) : At least nine people were killed in different road accidents in separate parts of Punjab Friday morning. In Faisalabad, five people were killed while 30 others were injured when a bus overturned due to speeding.
The bus was passing by the dry port, trying to overtake a trailer when the accident occurred.
Rescue workers shifted 14 of the injured to the hospital,a private tv channel reported. A similar incident took place in Dera Ghazi Khan where a bus turned over due to speeding, leaving 13 people injured.
They were taken to the tehsil headquarters hospital. In Muzaffargarh, an oil tanker rammed into a motorbike, killing four people. Three of them were brothers, while the fourth deceased person was their cousin. The accused drivers in all three accidents fled the site.
