MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 24th Oct, 2017 ) :Work was in progress at a fast pace for the preparation of route for second Thal jeep rally scheduled to begin from November 9. MPA from Layyah Sardar Qaisar Abbas Magsi and officials including acting Regional Manager, Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP), Sheikh Ijaz, ADC Revenue Muzaffargarh Ataul Haq, AC Kot Addu Zahoor Hussain Bhutta, ADC Revenue Layyah Naeemullah, AC Chobara Sifaat ullah inspected the on-going work on the route.
The team was informed that 70 per cent work had been completed on the route passing through Muzaffargarh district, while 80 per cent work was completed on its section passing through Layyah.
The official team also visited the site selected for qualifying round of the race that was damaged due to rains.
ADC Revenue Muzaffargarh directed quarters concerned to speed up repair work and make this segment of the route ready within next three days so that qualifying round could be held properly before the opening date. The official team would visit different sections of the route again after three days.
