MULTAN, (Muzaffargarh.City – 24th Apr, 2018 ) :Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) installed 2,722 new power transformers during fiscal year 2017-18. According to a press release issued here, the total number of transformers in the region had reached 159,677 now.
The new transformers included six of 10 KVA, six of 15 KVA, 1,701 of 25 KVA, 621 of 50 KVA, 211 of 10 KVA, 137 of 200 KVA, 23 of 400 KVA and 15 of 630 KVA. As many as 394 transformers were installed in Multan circle, 244 in DG Khan, 361 in Vehari, 378 in Bahawalpur, 469 in Sahiwal, 246 in Rahimyar Khan, 129 in Muzaffargarh, 277 in Bahawalnager and 224 transformers installed in Khanewal circle during July 2017 to March 2018.
