MUZAFFARGARH, (Muzaffargarh.City – 16th Nov, 2016 ) : As many as 106 vehicles were challaned for overloading during the month of October. This was stated by District Officer Regional Transport Authority Arooj Fatima in a statement issued here on Wednesday.
She said that campaign against overloading was continued in the district with the help of field staff. She said that strict legal action was being taken against the vehicles involved in overloading and other law violations.
She said that during the campaign, 106 vehicles were challaned and 8 were impounded over violations in the last month. She said that a fine of Rs 207,500 was recovered on the spot from violators of the traffic rules.
